Lise Boisjoli, who has been driving the BC Transit bus in the region for close to six years, made her last regular trip last week, receiving fond farewells from many people who have come to know her over the years. Riders in Clinton had a cake ready for her, and the Village of Ashcroft presented her with flowers on her final day.

“It’s one of the things I’ve done in my life that I’ve loved the most,” says Boisjoli. “I have marvelous customers. I thought it would be way tougher, but the people have been so nice.”

Lawrence Marchment is replacing Boisjoli as the regular bus driver. All scheduled runs and services will continue as planned.
