Eleven teams competed in the 4th annual Historic Hat Creek Ranch’s Ranch Rodeo on July 9-10.
The teams competed in several events, from cutting horse to a saddle race to win the Top Hand belt buckle
1st: PZ Ranch
2nd: Nicola Ranch
3rd: Weekend Warriors/Douglas Lake - Portland.
Working Ranch Horse: Tim Thomas, Chilco Ranch.
Top Hand: Paul LeBlanc, Gang Ranch.
The teams competing this year were:
Douglas Lake Ranch – Chapperon Division (Douglas Lake): Cameron Jacobs, Thomas Linford and Cory Nottingham.
Chilco Ranch (Hanceville): Tim Thomas, Pat Jasper and Crystal Grier.
Nicola Ranch (Merritt): Mark Elliott, Josh Klassen and Mike McCormick.
Coldstream Ranch (Coldstream): Nick Bapty, Pascal Olivier and Josh Friesen.
Douglas Lake Ranch – Portland Division (Douglas Lake): Jesey Hickling, Steve Brewer and Greg Graham.
Gang Ranch A (Gang Ranch): Wacey Marr, Ross Gardner and Larry Ramstad.
