On Thursday, December 15, 2011 Elizabeth Fehr (nee Dyck) passed away quietly at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home at the age of 89, one day short of her 90th Birthday.

She is survived by Arthur, her husband of 68 years, her 5 children Don (Lillian) of Kamloops Lois (Bill) Van Damme of Clearwater, Glenn (Eleanor) of Cache Creek, Ernie (Carol) of 108 Mile House and Bob (Linda) of Prince George, 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, her brother Fred (Mary) Johnson of Logan Lake and sister Margaret Jensen of Saskatchewan.

She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Elizabeth was born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on December 16, 1921. She grew up in Saskatchewan, married Arthur in 1943 and they moved to Kelowna, then lived in Pritchard for a short time before moving to Clinton. From there they lived in Cache Creek until they retired and moved to Whiterock where they enjoyed golfing, fishing and winters in El Centro, California. In 1993 they moved back to Cache Creek and in 2007 they moved to Berwick on the Park in Kamloops.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of the Royal Inland Hospital for the care she received and a special thanks to the staff at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home for making Elizabeth’s last days very peaceful and comfortable.
