STALZER
1935 ~ 2006
Joseph William Stalzer of Ashcroft, BC passed away peacefully on July 19, 2006. Beloved husband of Joan, his wife of 48 years, and loving father of Joanne Wells, Jerry (Judy), Janice (Burt) Mazarall and Joseph (Lynn). Also left with cherished memories are grandchildren Carrie Wells-Bradley, Jennifer (Doug) Kristjanson, James Stalzer, Jared (Chris) Stalzer, Richard (Jaclyn) Varty, Kassi McCann, Jenna Stalzer and Joey Stalzer; great grandson Kayden Stalzer, brothers Frank (Judy), John (Gloria) and Edward (Mary-Ann), sisters Mary Bryant, Hilda Jensen and Anna Stalzer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Anna Stalzer and his brother Jacob (Vivian).
Joe was born in Vancouver, BC on April 3, 1935. He met his future wife at St. Pat’s Elementary School while in grade one. Joe and Joan were married on August 15, 1959. They raised their four children in North Burnaby and moved to Kamloops in 1972. They also lived in Sparwood, South Burnaby and Maple Ridge before settling in Ashcroft. Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and being on his boat. Grandpa loved his view of the river from his house on the hill.
