In Loving Memory Shirley Ramona Raphael (nee Haugen)
A beloved wife, mother, sister and aunt passed away January 31, 2017. Shirley was surrounded by the love and warmth of her husband Vernon, her children Justin, Jarret, Kristi, family and friends. Shirley will be missed by her Grandbabies Joel, Jada, Jaylee, Saveah and Deegan, her siblings, Cyril, Karen, Judy , Douglas, Sonny and John and her huge in-law family. Shirley is also survived by her many nieces, nephew, cousins, relative and in-laws all who were cherished by her. She was predeceased by parents Lawrence and Rita Haugen, brothers, Larry Haugen, sister Sandra Charlie and her loving Yaya. Shirley was a long time resident of Lytton and gave to the community through years of work as Finance Manager and her ongoing generosity was provided through many volunteer events and activities. Shirley was a mentor and role model to all of those she knew. All that have known her have been touched deep within their hearts and soul by her own big-heartedness. She was hardworking and full of activity that impacted those around her in a loving way. Thank you to all her nurses and doctors at the Saint Bartholomew Hospital and the Royal Inland Hospital Cancer Clinic. A celebration of life was held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at Kumsheen Secondary in Lytton BC for family, friends and community. The family thanks each and everyone for their heartfelt support during this time.
