Tina “Kathy” Annie Markus passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home in Kamloops. Kathy was 82 years of age.

She was born on February 9, 1934 in Morden, Manitoba to parents Katherina & Isaac Plett. She Married her loving husband Robert on April 7, 1953 and lived in Cache creek for almost 40 years. She worked in the area for many years as a waitress at the Sandman Inn.

Kathy will be dearly missed by her children; Gerald, Luella (Jim), Harold, Bill (Patsy), Bob (Pam), Larry (Gladys), Bonnie (Ken) and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

She was predeceased by her husband Bob, parents Katherina & Isaac Plett, brothers Ike, Jake, George, Hank and sister Sue.

A Celebration of Life was held

to honour Kathy’s life

from 1-3pm on Saturday, October 15 from the Chapel of Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ltd.

in Ashcroft.
