Billy passed away in the Jackson House Long Term Care on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at the age of 76 years.

He was born in Sudbury, Ontario on September 5, 1940. He left Sudbury on October 5, 1972 to come to BC.

Billy worked in the forestry industry as a logger in the Prince George area and moved to the Boston Flats trailer court in 2002. In 2010 a long term medical condition led him to moving into Jackson House where he lived quite contently until his passing. He was reunited with his brother when he also relocated to Jackson house and they spent the last three years together.

Billy was predeceased by his parents and leaves no wife or children to mourn his passing. He is survived by his brother Don and Don’s family at Niagara on the Lake in Ontario, and by his friends in Jackson House, the care-workers there, and his special friends Audrie and Melissa who all loved him dearly. May he rest in peace.

No formal services by request.

Donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Friends of the Ashcroft & District Hospital.
