Dear Editor,
There are no words to adequately express the immense gratitude we at the Ashcroft and District Hospice Society feel towards the wonderful and generous communities of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, and area!
The recent Guns and Hoses charity event was a blast of family fun, laughs, and kindness, plus a great game of hockey thrown in for some added excitement. Special thank-yous go out to Chris Buckland and the talented regional RCMP Guns, our “winning” area Volunteer Fire Department Hoses, Ashcroft and District Lions Club, Second Time Around, our amazing local and area business prize-donators, special volunteer worker-bees, plus YOU: our friends and neighbours, who so generously supported this event, and in turn, our area Hospice Society.
We promise to honour your kindness and support by using this gift to find opportunities to better help all our community residents experience the respect, comfort, care, and support that everyone deserves, as one is faced with a life- limiting illness or the loss of a loved one. We will be here for you.
