Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Ashcroft and District Hospice Society, I would like to thank everyone who visited our Hospice Plant Sale in Ashcroft on May 11 and 12.

Some of you came to chat, some to buy a plant, some to “donate to win”, and all of you to support our Hospice Program.

We are so blessed to have such caring community members throughout our region of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, Walhachin, and Spences Bridge. Your generosity was overwhelming! Your kindness, encouragement, and support are humbling, and fuels us to continue!

Thank you also to Trish, Sherry, and Chelsie at Elizabeth Fry, and to Kitty and the gang at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store: the loving green thumbs who nurtured the wonderful assortment of plants. Thank you Barbara and the Journal, for always being there to support and promote our cause.

We are truly humbled by everyone’s generosity, encouragement, and continued support. Together, we build strong communities.

With gratitude,

Deborah Tedford
