Dear Editor,

This is just a friendly reminder to our citizens. Approximately five to six weeks ago, the Ashcroft and Area Community Resources Society distributed “Greensleeves” in Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, and Spences Bridge. After working for more than a year with BC Ambulance personnel, we created a program to help streamline their crisis responses, and enhance the experience for the casualties.

We have spoken to numerous people who have stated that they accepted the package, but have not yet put it to use. We would like to remind our citizens that the only way this program will be successful is for you to fill out the form and hang it on your refrigerator, with a prominent sticker placed on your door. Please call me at the number below if you wish to have one of our volunteers help you fill out the form.

For anyone not having a “Greensleeve”, and wanting one, they are available as follows:

Ashcroft: The HUB; Elizabeth Fry Society; E. Lang (250-453-9085)

Cache Creek: Village Office; The Equality Project

Clinton: Village Office; Health Centre; Food Bank

Spences Bridge: The Packing House
