Dear Editor,
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who sent such kind words and congratulations on my being chosen for the Medal of Good Citizenship for 2023. So many nice telephone calls, emails, and text messages.
Thank you especially to Esther Lang and the three people who wrote letters on my behalf. I feel very humble and honoured to be chosen. And to be listed alongside other recipients of the medal in our area: Clayton Cassidy (2016), Esther Lang (2021), and Deb Arnott (2022). It certainly says something about the Ashcroft/Cache Creek area, that there are so many people who volunteer to help in our communities.
Thank you again, all of you kind people.
