Dear Editor,

The sheer volume of support has left us speechless, and no words can describe to you how we truly feel towards all the volunteers and agencies that have helped us in our time of need. We would like to acknowledge and thank the following:

Ashcroft RCMP

The Villages of Cache Creek and Ashcroft

All the firefighters from Cache Creek, Ashcroft, Kamloops, and surrounding areas

The Province of British Columbia

All the Search and Rescue Units, including ground, canine, and swiftwater teams

Wyatt McMurray for continuous air support

Emergency Management B.C.

And of course all the volunteers and donations that kept us going during the search and recovery period.

The Cassidy family would like to offer a heartfelt and humble thank you to all. At 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 28, Clayton was brought home.

A public celebration of life for Clayton will be held on Saturday, June 3 starting at 2 p.m. at the Cache Creek park.

Patrick Cassidy
