The Ashcroft and District Health Care Auxiliary recently accepted two original paintings donated to the HCA by former Ashcroft resident Fred Seher and his wife Virginia, who now live in Kamloops.

Fred, a prolific painter, donated the paintings so they could be used to raise funds to help support the HCA’s ongoing activities, which benefit health care locally and throughout the region.

The two paintings will be available for sale at the HCA Thrift Store at 601 Bancroft Street in Ashcroft during the annual Christmas sale, which starts on Nov. 21 and continues every Wednesday and Friday through Nov. 30.
