The Ashcroft Rams Senior Girls’ basketball team hosted a tournament this past weekend, and placed third. Ashcroft students Mackenzie Woodburn, Raylene Husa, and Ali Onstine were named “players of the game”, with Woodburn also receiving an all-star trophy.
“The team has worked, and is working, really hard,” says Barb Woodburn. “They get up to go to a 7:30 a.m. practice, as well as their evening ones. I can’t believe [coach] Roger Hannis comes in that early for practice. They are all devoted and dedicated.”
