The Ashcroft Arts Club is once again adding their artistic touch to downtown with their 2nd Annual Summer Artwalk which runs from July 1 until Sept. 6 this year.
The 2011 Artwalk features 11 artists displaying their paintings, photographs and sculpture at 16 businesses in downtown Ashcroft. You and your summer guests you will want to visit them all.
The walk basically takes in the area from Chris’s Under the Bridge, up Railway Avenue, up 3rd and 4th streets, and all the way to the Irly Building Centre.
Each venue is numbered so you can follow the numbers on the doors, or pick up an Artwalk brochure map at participating businesses to guide your way. At each venue, the artist has shared a biography with a bit about themselves and their art. Most of their displayed art pieces are for sale with their prices clearly marked.
Enjoy the Artwalk and perhaps it will inspire the artist within you to join us when the Ashcroft Arts Club meetings and activities resume in October!
