Nineteen dedicated individuals hit the road on Apr. 2 – with litter pick up.
Our highways and biways are now much improved thanks to the hardworking crew! So thank-you to all who came out and pitched in!
Twenty-four bags of refuse were delivered to the dump, along with lots of scrap metal bits. There were also two bags of returnables for the Fire Dept.!
We appreciate the TNRD’s no charge policy for community events such as this one.
Thank you to Interior Roads for contributing $300 to the Community Club in recognition of our efforts.
Thanks also to the Packing House for putting together the lunch as their contribution. Absolutely outstanding baked beans and potato salad!!
So ’til next year – we can always hope for a reduction in the amount of litter folks throw out their vehicle windows!
