A number of people gathered at the Clinton Museum to mark the 60th anniversary of the museum being in its current location. Fraser-Nicola MLA Jackie Tegart spoke of the importance of heritage to the region, and thanked the many volunteers who have, over the years, created and run the museum. Clinton mayor Jim Rivett paid tribute to the South Cariboo Museum Historical Society, which operates the museum and whose volunteers keep it open throughout the summer.
