“Farm to Fork” is the theme for this year’s annual Ashcroft Fall Fair. You won’t want to miss the excitement – with all day music on the stage, great concessions, an expanded kids’ corner, Farmer for a Day display, animals and lots of vendors showing off their wares.
If you’ve been busy crafting, knitting or canning this year, there is still time to enter. There are some great prizes to be won. Booklets are available at local retailers featuring all the different categories that you can enter. Do you have some amazing blooms in your garden? Have you taken an exceptional photograph? Do you have an unbeatable recipe for lemon meringue pie? Come out and share your talents. Registration takes place Friday, Sept. 9 from 3-7 pm and Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 am to noon. Be sure to read the booklet for details of how to enter.
The Fair is at the Drylands Arena in Ashcroft on Sunday, Sept. 11. It is open to the public from 10 am – 5 pm. Come down and celebrate all that is terrific about our small rural town!
