Aschroft & District Fund Raising Society (Second Time Around) ’s first Annual General Meeting was held Apr. 21. Election of officers resulted in the following: President Val Martin, Secretary/Treasurer Bev Campbell, and Directors Anne Bonter, Colin Franes, Ron Jones and Percy Clark.

We gave out a total of $9,510 in grants to local groups. Grants were given to: Winding Rivers Arts and Performance Society (2x$300), Ashcroft & District Fall Fair ($500), Ashcroft-Cache Creek Seniors Association ($500), Spences Bridge Desert Daze ($260), Sage and Sands Pony Club ($300), South Cariboo E. Fry Society ($400), Cache Creek Elementary School Garden Club ($750), Ashcroft Secondary School Girls Basketball ($750), Ashcroft Tennis Club ($1,000), School Soccer Association ($500), Jr. Boys Basketball ($750), Minor Hockey ($200), Senior Girls Basketball ($500), Early Learning Association ($1,000), Ashcroft Rodeo Parade ($500), 4H CLub ($500), and Cache Creek Parents Advisory Council ($500).
A big thank you to everyone who donated items to us making it possible to give out these grants. Keep the donations coming!!!!
