Family Literacy day, Jan. 27, was celebrated at the old school in Spences Bridge. There was computer chess and games of cribbage and checkers as well as Wii bowling. Add to this some great snacks and socializing and the result is a very enjoyable evening. Folks are asking for more! A weekly games night may be in the picture.
In Ashcroft on Feb. 2, there was a small but nice turnout and everyone enjoyed the games night in the Ashcroft Elementary School.
