Provincial winner of The Royal Canadian Legion’s Primary Colour Poster contest

Pearce Brown’s poster entry for the Legion’s Remembrance Day Poster and Literary Contest has risen through the local, regional and zone-level contests and is now being judged at the national level.

Students at Ashcroft Elementary and Cache Creek Elementary schools participate in the contest, but very few reach the national level.

The provincial win comes with a certificate and $100 prize; a win at the national level includes a cash prize and a trip to the nation’s capital to witness the Remembrance Day services in Ottawa.
