The Day the Music Died

The former Clinton Jamboree Committee has reluctantly pulled the plug on the 2011 Clinton Country Jamboree.

The committee had offered the running of the annual affair to any Clinton organization willing to take on the organising and running of the popular event. The former members of the committee had all resigned but they offered to assist anyone who took it on. They had stated that they needed to know by Jan. 31 if the jamboree was to continue or not.

Unfortunately no group or organization has come forward to keep the jamboree going. Past participants will be notified that the event will not run this year.

After 11 years of country music in the park, there will be no Clinton Country Jamboree in 2011.
