The Fifth Annual Rotary Charity Golf Tournament held Saturday, July 9 raised over $900 YES, Youth Leadership Training for local youth.

“We are delighted with the turnout and the sponsorships,” said Ron Hood, Rotary Club President. “The weather for this event was the best summer weather we have seen this year and everyone had a great time, having fun and raising money for a worthy local cause.”

The mixed scramble format allowed players of all skills to participate and have fun. The winning team shot a scorching 61 to edge out their nearest competitors by two shots.

“The tournament went very smoothly because of the great volunteer work of local Rotarians and fantastic local sponsor support,” said Hood. “Without our sponsors we would be hard pressed to put on any event. We are very grateful for their generosity.”

We were also impressed with the fantastic condition of the course due to the hard work of Dennis Daniels and his grounds crew.

The Ashcroft-Cache Creek Rotary Charity Golf Tournament gratefully acknowledges the contributions and support of the many sponsors and on behalf of the community . . .Thank You!!
