The sixth annual Skip’s Run took place in Ashcroft on June 5. Some 46 participants walked, ran, or biked on the hottest day of the year, but the Ashcroft volunteer firefighters were on hand to provide a cooling shower. The run honours former Lions Club member Skip Stuart, and all funds raised go to the Ashcroft and District Lions Club to benefit the community.
