More than 100 students from Grades four to nine at Desert Sands Community School participated in a week-long “Little Tennis Program” under the instruction of tennis pro George Lea. The students’ skills improved in a very short time, and there is now a renewed interest in playing tennis. The Ashcroft and District Tennis Association donated some junior rackets and tennis balls to keep the momentum going.
