The Clinton Recreation Commission will meet on Monday, Jan. 24 at 7 pm in Council Chambers to discuss the upcoming Clinton Winterfest. Anyone interested in helping is welcome to attend. Any organization planning to host an event in the Winterfest should send a representative to the meeting.

The Clinton Communities in Bloom Committee will meet on Monday, Jan. 24 immediately following the Recreation Committee meeting. The group will be discussing the establishing of a Community Garden in Clinton as well as the Communities in Bloom competition. Clinton will be entering in the Provincial competition again this year in an effort to increase their overall score prior to entering the National competition. Any one interested in helping with the community garden or the competition is welcome to attend.
Thrift Shoppe Sale
The Thrift Shoppe in St. John’s United Church hall will hold a Bag Sale Day on Friday, Jan. 28 from noon to 4 pm. Come and check out the bargains.
