SilverStar Mountain Resort is on the market.

Director of sales, marketing and events Ian Jenkins told The Morning Star that SilverStar is intending to be sold.

The resort was purchased by POWDR, an adventure lifestyle company with destinations across North America in 2019.

POWDR announced today that they have signed an agreement to sell Killington Resort in Vermont.

"With that announcement, POWDR also shared that they intended to sell other resorts: SilverStar, Eldora in Colorado, and Mt. Bachelor in Oregon," Jenkins said.

JP Morgan will be advising the process to find the best owners for SilverStar, and Jenkins said that the resort "does not expect any changes to products, roles, and operations at SilverStar for the 24/25 winter season."

"We will continue to conduct business as usual as we work to finish off the summer biking season and open the resort for skiing and riding in November of 2024."

Stacey Hutchinson, vice president of POWDR, also confirmed the news of a potential sale.

"Over the coming weeks, we will list three of our ski resorts—Eldora, Mt. Bachelor, and SilverStar—for sale, with JP Morgan Chase managing the process," she told the Morning Star. "Until the sales of these four resorts (including Killington) are finalized, we will remain dedicated to our current operations at those ski resorts. In addition, we are dedicated to a seamless transition at all four resorts. "
