Although many of these artists paint for hobby and relaxation purposes, some of them have earned international acclaim as well. The Ashcroft Art Show is held in April of every year and is a great opportunity to view the quality work of artists from Savona to Logan Lake. Coyote Corner on Hwy 1 and Hwy 97C and the Painted Ladies Gallery in Ashcroft offer local art and crafts for sale. There are many crafts sales throughout the year that can give you the opportunity to view the many beautiful creations produced in Gold Country, and some of them can be found at Ashcroft's Farmers Market held every Saturday throughout the Summer in downtown Ashcroft.
