Question: How long have you lived in your community?
A: I have lived in the community for 46 years.
Question: What is your occupation?
A: I am a Community Paramedic with BCEHS.
Question: Have you done any volunteer work here? Which group(s)?
A: I have volunteered with the Clinton ESS (Emergency Social Services) since 2003, Clinton Minor Softball 1992-1998, Clinton Literacy Group, and I’m a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Br. 194, Former PAC secretary 1993 to 2000.
Question: Have you served before in municipal government or on a Board of School Trustees? If yes, where, when, and for how long?
A: Yes, I am and have been a Councillor for the Village of Clinton since 2011 when I was first elected.
Question: Which issues are most important to you?
A: To continue to improve the infrastructure of the municipality, encourage and find opportunities to encourage businesses, employment opportunities, housing development, which is in high demand and includes multiple housing units.
Question: How would you address them?
A: Working with the provincial and regional governments for funding opportunities, land usage, partnerships with First Nation groups, marketing of the community and its assets, and location.
Question: Additional comments?
A: You will never find such diverse town that has such a vast array of opportunities in it. The people here are ones who truly want to be here and provide comfort and caring passion for all.
