On Aug. 21 at 8:25 pm RCMP were contacted by Vancouver Island police who requested that they serve documents on a local 13 year old youth who had been arrested there in July.
The boy, who lives with his family in the Ashcroft area, is charged with sexual assault, assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats. The alleged female victim was an acquaintance. The matter is still under investigation.
