Leslie Lloyd, Cache Creek’s new Chief Administrative Officer, began her new job Sept. 23.
Lloyd was previously employed by the Squamish Lillooet Regional District where she was Director of Administrative Services and then Acting Chief Administrative Officer for a short time.
“Serving the public. That’s the best part of being in local government,” she says. “It’s probably the main reason why most of us do it.”
Lloyd was born in the Lower Mainland, but lived and worked in Kamloops for many years. She still has family there and considers this area to be he home.
Before moving to local government, Lloyd spent many years in the banking industry.
She takes over from former Cache Creek administrator Tom Kadla, who is now the CAO in Lumby.
