1. How long have you lived here?

I was born and raised here (I’ve lived here for 59 years), worked around here, and am now retiring here.

 

2. What is your occupation?

I was a saw-filer at the Chasm mill, now retired.

3. Have you done any volunteer work here? Which group(s)?

I currently belong to the Cache Creek Volunteer Fire Department; I recently re-joined due to the lack of members, after having served on the department from 1994 to 2010.

4. Have you served before on Council?

I’ve never served on council.

5. Which issues are most important to you?

A Seniors’ drop-in centre, a truck park for semis, using common-sense in government, promoting jobs relating to the trucking industry.

Advance voting takes place at the Cache Creek Municipal Office (1389 Quartz Road) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily from Monday, June 20 to Friday, June 24. General Voting Day is Saturday, June 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cache Creek Municipal Office.
