Skeetchestn Natural Resources Corp. on behalf of Skeetchestn Indian Band invites members of the public to review and provide written comments on its Forest Operations Map (FOM ID:1617) which identifies areas proposed for Cutting Permit and Road Permit development for wildfire salvage.
The FOM is administered by the Thompson Rivers District.
The 30-day review and comment period for the FOM begins on August 1, 2024, and ends on August 30, 2024, and comments can be received during this period.
The FOM is accessible online for public review and comment at: https://fom.nrs.gov.bc.ca/public/projects. The FOM can also be reviewed in person (by appointment) at 1040 Lemonade Flats Rd. Savona, BC. V2K, during business hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact devin.halcrow@snrcorp.ca to arrange a meeting. Comments must be received by August 30, 2024.
The FOM is valid for 3 years during which the FOM may be relied upon to apply for a cutting permit or road permit to harvest a cut block or construct a road shown on the FOM.
