- Anne Shorthouse a late resident of Ashcroft passed away in the Ashcroft and District Health Site on Tuesday August 5th 2008. Anne is predeceased by her husband Leslie, her parents, brother Steve and sister Minnie and is survived by her son Ernie (Judy) of Ashcroft, grandsons Stephen (Karen), Gary, great grandchildren Hanna, Jacob, niece Carol and great niece Stephanie and many other relatives and friends. Should friends so desire donations in Memory of Anne may be made to the Family Friends Society Box 773, Ashcroft, B.C. V0K 1A0. A Private family service will be held on Sunday August 10th, 2008 in Ashcroft. Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ashcroft entrusted with arrangements.
