May 19, 1931 – June 1, 2008
Art Innes of Kamloops, BC passed away peacefully at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home after a struggle with cancer. Much loved husband of Doreen and father of sons Alan (Meg), Derek and Ivan (Jacqueline). Art is also survived by his sister Louisa Stanford. Born and educated in Vancouver, BC, he spent many years in Ashcroft, BC, working for Bethlehem and Valley Copper mines. He owned and managed The Print Shoppe in Ashcroft with son Ivan. His devotion and service to the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star occupied much of his free time for many years. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Art’s life was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, 360 Nicola Street, Kamloops on Friday, June 6th, 2008 at 11:00 am.
