Brian Jeffrey Carey
October 6, 1955 ~ January 25, 2006.
Brian passed away peacefully at the Royal Inland Hospital.
He will always be remembered for his courage and positive attitude after being confined to a wheelchair.
His mother Louise Carey, father Herbert Carey and stepmother Edna Carey predecease Brian.
Brian is survived by his companion and caregiver Tina Dalhuisen, brothers Rick and Phil (Moe), sister Brenda (Greg), nephews and nieces Charly, Wade, Stewart, Craig, Kyle and Megan, step sisters Brenda and Fran (Ken) and their families as well as many other family and friends.
A special thanks from the family to Tina for her love and care that gave Brian quality of life that he otherwise would not of had.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Rick Hansen Man in Motion Foundation 5th floor, 520 West 6th Avenue Vancouver, BC, Canada V5Z 1A1.
A private family Graveside Service will be held. A tea for family and friends will be held in Savona at the OAP Hall on Wednesday February 1st at 1:00pm.
