GERRY DAWN

1916 – 2007


William Gerald “Gerry” Dawn of Logan Lake, BC passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2007 at 91 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife,

Marjorie; children Carol of Logan Lake BC and Leslie (Fredrika) of Victoria BC; grandson Alexander; sisters Olive Turner of California and Isabelle Tondevold of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and nieces and nephews Patricia Anne, John, Cathy (Russ), Tom (Diane), and Dawn. He was predeceased by two brothers in-law John and George, and nephew David. Gerry was born in Clarksburg, Grey County, Ontario on July 11, 1916. He farmed in Saskatchewan after serving overseas in the army during World War II, and worked for Fed Co-Op in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Gerry moved to BC in 1968, in the Armstrong-Vernon BC area. Later he lived in Golden, then Ashcroft and finally Logan Lake in 2004. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gerry’s life with a gathering on Sunday, December 9, 2007 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at #4 Agate Drive in Logan Lake. Donations are gratefully appreciated in Gerry’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 203-635 Victoria St.,
