Harkness
Elaine Harkness passed away on April 3, 2006 in the Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by her loving daughter Alaen (Steve) of Errington, BC and her 3 granchildren Keegan and Ryan Metheringham and Ryan Phenix.
Elaine is predeceased by her husband Lyle Harkness her parents Percy & Idella Madge; brothers Lawrence & Glen and her Grandson Damas.
Elaine was born in Filmore, SK on Nov 21, 1923.
Her family moved to the Lower Mainland where she met and married Lyle Harkness and in 1960 they settled in Cache Creek.
Elaine cooked at the Ashcroft Hospital for 18 years and whe was a member of the Royal Purple for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
There will be no formal service by request but should friends so desire donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
