February 20, 1940 to March 20, 2008


With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Ernie was predeased by his mother Helen Robins, father Gabriel Nameth and brothers Rudy Nameth, Gabe Nameth and Andy Nameth. Survived by his daughters’ mother Shirley Nameth of New Westminister. His daughters Lori Nameth (Leonard), Sheila Nameth (Dave), and Kim Nameth. The son he never had Tom Watson. Stepdaughter Caroline (Victor) Paulos. Brothers Willy (Angie) Nameth and George Nameth. Sisters Helen

(Edgar) Ashston and Liz Maierhoffer. Aunts Annie Sabayan, Dolly Nameth and Margaret Sakaal Grandchildren Tyler Bara, Jeremy Bara, Justin Watson, Darcy Bara (Jr), Danika Paulos, Elijah (Fuzz) Watson and Monica Paulos. De-Niece Barb (Sandy) Davidson and children Levi and Kendra and his best friend Bob Cyr. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Ernie was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan and moved to Ashcroft in 1966 with his young family and started working for Bethleham Copper until retiring in 2004 from Highland Valley Copper. He enjoyed retirement for a minute and went on to be the maintenance man at the Desert Motel (Cache Creek). Dad enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening and nightly dinners with Uncle George. We will miss you dearly dad, grandpa, uncle, brother and friend. If you wish donations on Ernie’s behalf may be made to the Thompson Cariboo Minor Soccer Association or the Elizabeth Fry Society. A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
