BEATTIE —
Evva (Louise) Beattie born June 3, 1924 passed away May 22, 2005. Louise leaves to mourn her loving husband Bill of Savona, her loving children Butch (Carol) Flynn, Pat McCloy, Mona (Bob) Goldie, MaryLynn (Gerry) Jones, her step children Diane Davinport, Patty Wood, Brent (Evelyn) Beattie, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, sister Vernie (Finn) Findley, of Surrey, sister in law Eleanore (Chris) Berlid of Innisfail, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by her father Chipman (Walter) Kierstead in 1977 and her mother Minnie (Momsy) Kierstead in 1987, Sisters Iris Yanchuk in 1992, and great aunt Glady, 1 grandson and 1 stepson.
A time of fellowship was held on Saturday May 28th, 2005 at the Savona Community Hall at 1:00 pm. Special thank you to Misty and Jasmine for all their help. Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ashcroft entrusted with arrangements.
In The Garden of Our Heart
Last Sunday the Angels summoned God with a Dove,
They wanted him to witness a woman of love.
He came right to her garden, her soul He set free,
And offered His hand, whispering “Lou come to me.”
She raised up her hands, soil stained, water cold,
A look of hard work were the story they told.
God comforted and held her, in His arms can she rest,
She found peace in doing those things she loved best.
He showed her his garden, whispering I need you it’s time,
You’ve given your life, but you’ve always been mine
