Fernando (Frank) Nadeau
The family regrets to advise the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and husband, on Nov. 17 2010, at Ashcroft Hospital.
Frank was born on May 4, 1930. He leaves to mourn his wife Donna of 42 years, and six sons, Errol (Betty) Robyn (Tamara) Brent (Charlene) Lance, Darcy (Mell) Dean (Lisa), eight grandchildren, sisters and brothers in Quebec. Also, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and his many friends, and his beloved pet Mitzie.
Frank led a varied and colourful life. He was in the Merchant Marines as a youth, he was a long distant haul truck driver. He and wife Donna lived on a house boat around Jedidiah Island where Frank salvaged logs. Frank ran a fish farm in Delta. He designed and built his own house boat. He was a technical designer on the Ski-Whee, he founded Nonad Plastic Products Limited in Langley, which his sons Lance and Brent runs today. Frank had a passion for knowledge to the end of his life.
There will be no service, at Frank’s request. Friends may make a donation on Frank’s behalf to the cancer society.
