Fusaye (Fusa) Teshima

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fusaye (Fusa) Teshima on November 4, 2015.

She fought her hardest, right to the end and nothing less would have been acceptable to her.

Fusa is predeceased by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by her two sisters, Kiyoko and Merry and her five brothers, Mamoru (Robin), Ken, Mutsuo (Pat), Roy (Sandra), and Richard (Judy). Also, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was born in Vancouver and was a long term resident of Ashcroft. Fusa worked for 41 dedicated years at The Lady Minto and Ashcroft Hospitals, until she retired, then kept busy with volunteer work.

Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to all staff on the ICU Ward at the R.I.H. & Renal Unit, and special thanks to Deb, Pam and Laurel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada #200-4940 Canada Way, Burnaby BC V5G 9Z9 or to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, 1589 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC V1Y 5V7, in memory of Fusa would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a reception tea held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 1 – 3 p.m. at the St. Albans Anglican Church Hall 501 Brink St., Ashcroft B.C.
