Gordon Dempster Kynoch
July 31, 1924 - April 16, 2005
With deep sorrow the family announces the passing of our dear beloved husband, father and grandfather on April 16, 2005 at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
Gordon was born on his parent’s farm near Robsart, Saskatchewan on July 31, 1924 and has lived in the Ashcroft area for the last 38 years.
The last of his generation, he was predeceased by his parents John and Jemima, his three brothers Alexander, Arthur, and Fredrick and his sister Anne. He leaves behind his much loved family; Bea, his wife of fifty years, three sons Brian (Danette), Brent (Val) and Brooke (Linda), and his pride and joy, six wonderful grandchildren Steffi, Andrea, Brance, Laura, Riley and Kelsey.
Gordon is also survived by his nephews Larry and Lloyd Kynoch of Calgary, Raymond Kynoch of Revelstoke, and Gary Pargee of Victoria, his niece June Preston of Victoria, and three brothers-in law Fred, Lyle and Mervin McKague.
Gordon will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends. A celebration of Gordon’s life was held for family and friends at the Ashcroft River Inn on Monday, April 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, Kamloops, British Columbia.
