Gregory Scott Flintoff

September 16, 1948 - July 4, 2014

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Scott Flintoff at the age of 65 years.

Greg was born in New Westminster, BC, the youngest of three boys born to Beth and Ralph Flintoff. Greg, a welder by trade with Highland Valley Copper, took great pride in his work with the Ashcroft Volunteer Fire Department and the Ashcroft Ambulance Service from the early 1970’s to the later 1980’s. He met his bride Torie in Kamloops in 1990 where they lived until they moved to their home in Logan Lake in 2004.

Predeceased by parents Ralph and Beth Flintoff, Greg is survived by wife Torie; children Michael (Tammy R.)- father of Rhea & Alissa; Tammy (Keith) -parents of Kailey, Kennady & Jakob; Deanne-mother of Josh, Reine, Krysalynn & Aryana; & Myles- father of Zach. Greg is also survived by brothers Marshall (Lana)- niece Cathy, nephew Scott; & Vern (Donna)- nephews Jeremy & Jeff; father and mother -in law George and Bev Johnson; brother- in-law Tom (Yvonne) as well as numerous other family and friends.

We would like to give a very special thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff of 1 South at Royal Inland Hospital for their special medical care and dedication to Greg during his stay.

A celebration of life will take place at the Logan Lake Senior Centre on July 18, 2014 at 4:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to either the Alzheimer’s Society or a Volunteer Fire Department of your choosing.
