July 17, 1943 - July 5, 2019
Herb died unexpectedly on July 5, 2019 from a brain hemorrhage. He had moved from Nanaimo to Cache Creek in April, 2019 in pursuit of his love for the interior of the province. This was a very happy time for him, enjoying the
sunshine and driving throughout the plateau and the Okanagan Valley. Throughout is life, he was an outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, and just simply walking in the woods. Herb was predeceased by his parents, Sarah and Herbert J. Addison, and brother Leonard J. Addison. He is survived by his brother Ray (Robyn) and family and Leonard's widow Patricia and their children. He also leaves behind cousins Bill Addison and Gary Balo, Herb's body has been cremated and will be interred next to his parents in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens in Cedar, BC. A memorial service will be scheduled for late August and will be posted in this paper.
