Janet Eileen Kimberley passed away on March 1, 2021, after a long battle with dementia at Jackson House Care Home in Ashcroft B.C.
Janet was born in Minton Saskatchewan to Sam and Agnus Rushiensky.
She is predeceased by her husband Don, brothers Gordon and Lloyd Ruschiensky. She is survived by her son's Guy (Judy), Gary (Debbie) sister Helen, Aunt Pat, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Janet or Jan as she was known to her friends enjoyed the outdoors, boating, camping, loved to walk, and was an avid curler, also was frustrated at golf but never quit.
She was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, volunteering in many different roles. The majority of Jan's working career was secretarial work, for many years in schools both in White Rock area and Ashcroft.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
