JOANNA MARY REAUGH (nee HJORLEIFSON)
October 22, 1948 - March 9, 2008
Joanna passed away at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. Her son, Jason; daughter-in-law, Nadine; grand-children, Boston and Maggie; her sisters, Kathryn and Christina, and her brother, Eric; will feel this loss daily. Joanna has touched so very many people with her generous spirit and so, her many, many friends will miss her dearly, too. Joanna lived what she believed and her co-workers, neighbourhoods, communities, and especially her Al-Anon family were all left more blessed by her willingness to make the world a better place. The family thanks the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Peace Arch Hospital for their unwavering care and support. A special ‘Thank-You!’ to Kathy Gidinski for her hours of support and love to Joanna and our family. A celebration of Joanna’s life will take place at the Cache Creek Community Hall, at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, April 12, 2008. Potluck dinner to follow. If you wish, donations on Joanna’s behalf may be made to the B.C. Cancer Society.
