April 17, 1940 - May 15, 2018
Lesley passed away quietly with her family beside her. Lesley grew up ranching in the Hat Creek area. Travelled extensively in BC for work and globally with her family for the adventure of seeing new places and the people who lived there. She pursued her passion for the outdoors with salmon fishing jaunts to the Yukon, hiking the trails from Mt Robson to the West Coast and numerous endurance horseback trips up to Joe Lake in the Cascade range. Social and fun, hard working and so talented. Lesley built what she needed, created beautiful and bountiful gardens. A skilled seamstress who fashioned her daughters wedding gowns with just a picture torn from a magazine.

Our beautiful redhead will be so deeply missed. She leaves her sister, Donna (Brian) Strongman of Nelson BC. Her daughters, Ava Gisler (Richard Carloni) of Cawston BC, Wanda Mckenzie (Jay) of Kelowna BC and Nada Schumann (Peter) of Kelowna BC. Grandkids, Quentin Schneider (Sheena) of Princeton BC, Sydney McKenzie, Jordan McKenzie from Kelowna BC. Clay Gisler from Lethbridge AB, Tess Critchlow from Kelowna and Josie Gisler from Cawston BC. Nephews David Strongman (Farah), Jason Strongman (Kyla), Allan Kennedy, Larry Kennedy and Lance Kennedy. Great grandkids, Cruise and Sterling.

Sincere thanks to the team at Cottonwoods for caring so much.
