Margaret Cairn Davies

September 19, 1944 - January 31, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cairn Davies, age 75, on January 31 due to an aggressive cancer. She was born September 19, 1944 in Vancouver to Chrissie and Fred Beallie. She married the love of her life Jim Davies in May 1964. He predeceased her in 2016.
Cairn was a passionate and determined woman, self-taught in many things like sewing and knitting and had many interests including canning, photography, gardening and livestock care. A true passion for her was genealogy where she learned exactly who she was and where she came from and in turn expanded her family tree to include so many.
Cairn is survived by her daughter Christine, son-in-law Gary, son Laurie, and many cousins and friends from across Canada and in Colorado. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Celebration of Life Services were held at 10 am, Thursday, February 6, 2020 from the chapel of Thompson Valley Funeral Home Ltd., in Ashcroft.
In lieu of flowers, donations in can be made in Cairn's name to the Kamloops Hospice Association.
