On Saturday at the Ashcroft Hospital with his family at his side Ray slipped peacefully away. He is survived by his wife Nora and three children, Ron (Sheila), Becky (Bob) and Sharla (Phil). Ray was predeceased by three daughters Lillian, Linda, Pamela, brothers Harry, Art and Doug. He is also survived by sisters Phillis, Dorothy, Alice, Beth, 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Ray was well respected in the community and will be missed especially in front of the post office where most people saw him for almost 30 years. Ray passed 6 days shy of his and Nora’s 67th anniversary and will be dearly missed by all his family. A Memorial was held Nov. 10, 2007 at the Kingdom Hall in Cache Creek. The family would like to thank Raymond McConville, the hospital staff, the hospice society, the Jehovah’s Witnesses and all who gave their love, support and time. Without you we would have been lost.
